Our City Expert's Tips

This is usually one of the busiest parts of Las Ramblas, because it's just across the street from the sprawling Plaça Catalunya, and near the central Plaça Catalunya metro stop.

Local Culture
On this part of Las Ramblas, you'll often see locals sitting on chairs and benches that line both sides of the pedestrian street. Nearby is the famous fountain--a perfect spot to splash water on your face and fill up your water bottle. (And, as the saying goes, if you drink from this fountain, you'll return to Barcelona!)
