Our City Expert's Tips

Costa Azul is a stunningly beautiful location that has rocky outcroppings on one side and great surfing on the other. This area (SW side) is known as "Zippers" and surfing competitions are held here every year. There is also a restaurant on the beach with the same name.

Family Time
This is a great beach for relaxing and watching the surfers, but not really recommended for swimming with the kids. For a more child friendly swimming beach, visit nearby Chileno Beach or Santa Maria Beach instead.

Sports Enthusiast
There is intermediate to expert surfing in this area.
