Our City Expert's Tips


San Jose del Cabo's City Hall is a good place to begin your exploration of the town. The tree-lined streets and multi-tiered fountain gracefully frame this laid-back community. From here you can visit the city square and the church of San Jose, shop along Blvd. Mijares, and have a great meal at any of the sidewalk restaurants.

Shop 'til You Drop!
Along Blvd. Mijares you will find some nice shops to explore. This would be a good place to purchase Mexican handicrafts, Talivera pottery, cigars, liquor, and jewelery.

Gourmet / Connoisseur
There are many upscale eateries in close proximity to the El Palacio Municipal. Try lunch at Damiana's--a popular local hangout.
