Our City Expert's Tips

Chicago is known for its wide variety of architecture; here's a good spot to get a glimpse of the city's variety. This historic tower, finished in 1927, was a showpiece in its day (the tallest building outside of New York City); now, it's overshadowed by some of the more modern buildings around it. But its classical lines (including the temple-like cupola on top) make it worth a quick look.

Adult Escape
For the best view, check out the building from across the Chicago River.
