Our City Expert's Tips

Brookfield Zoo is huge, with lots of spread-out outdoor habitats and some very cool indoor exhibits, so come with plenty of energy, because you'll be walking around a lot. The dolphin show is very popular, so buy tickets as soon as you arrive if you're interested. Two of the best indoor habitats are Australia House (where you'll see fruit bats flying over your head) and Tropic World, where a balcony allows you to walk at tree-top level among the monkeys.

Family Time
The Hamill Family Play Zoo has lots of interactive exhibits for kids; there is a small separate admission charge.
