Our City Expert's Tips

If you're a real architecture buff, this historic home is worth a stop to learn more about the evolution of Frank Lloyd Wright's style. The home is only open for tours on Wednesdays (12pm, free) and Saturdays (10am, also 1pm in April through November, $5). But even if you're not here on those days, the surrounding neighborhood is scenic, so it's worth strolling past even if you can't go inside.

History Buff
As part of the Saturday tour, you can have a guided tour of this house, another nearby historic mansion (Madlener House), and the surrounding neighborhood; tour cost is $10.
