Roskilde offers a wide selection of interesting attractions for visitors, primarily the exciting Viking Ship Museum. Located just by the inlet, this museum's collection is based on archaeological finds of Viking ships in that particular area. Roskilde Cathedral, located at the highest point of the city, is also interesting and beautiful. Here, Danish kings and queens have been buried for the last 800 years. The Cathedral also shows the changes that have taken place in architectural styles in that time. The old ferry Sagafjord is famous for serving delicious meals while you enjoy the views over the inlet. The main street should also be mentioned, with its preserved old town houses and the lovely park. In general, the city offers lots of experiences and sights to see.
