Adjacent to this nuclear power plant is Squaw Creek Lake, a 3228-acre reservoir built for the purpose of cooling the plant. Recreation here includes fishing for spotted, smallmouth and hybrid striped bass and walleye, as well as scuba diving, windsurfing and sailing. It may seem a bit strange to some, however, to be in a body of water that feeds a nuclear power site.
