The Farmers Market has grown rapidly in recent years from several open buildings where farmers pull up their trucks and sell their tomatoes and squash to a big shopping experience. You can buy anything from fresh fruit and veggies to flowers and bedding plants -- all at great prices. In some of the newer buildings, you'll find a huge variety of Mexican furniture and pottery imports, as well as booths selling artisan cheeses, honey, jams, and jellies. In the education building is a kitchen-classroom where a regular schedule of cooking lessons are offered by area chefs.
