Our City Expert's Tips

This is one of Florida's best-kept treasures because it feels so remote, yet you're only a couple miles from St. Augustine. You should definitely take advantage of canoeing on Pellicer Creek because you'll see wildlife that you've previously seen only in zoos. Though there are two designated hiking trails--both very low impact--serious hikers should go for the backwoods trails (only with permission from the ranger office).
