Our City Expert's Tips

The store gets practically mobbed during its legendary free in-store performances (check the alternative newspaper LA Weekly, available for free around town, or the Amoeba website for upcoming concerts).

Shop 'til You Drop!
Music fans will be like a kid in a candy store when browsing through the huge selection of new and used CDs and DVDs at this mecca of music. Warning: it's easy to lose track of time, especially since you can check out all CDs at nifty listening stations. Their buy-back policy will net you more cash for your used CDs than anywhere else in town. There's an awesome vinyl selection too.
