Our City Expert's Tips

There are few better places for watching the sunset than from the Belmont Pier, except perhaps the deck of the Belmont Brewing Company nearby. It's a lively restaurant-pub serving traditional American fare and delicious microbrews.

Outdoorsy
An enjoyable way to explore the beach is by taking a spin on the paved bike path that parallels the shores from Rainbow Harbor near downtown Long Beach all the way to Alamitos Bay and the border with Orange County. Rent bikes at Bikestation (+1 562 436 BIKE) in downtown or Wheel Fun (+1 562 951 3857).
