Our City Expert's Tips

Get the star treatment with two hours of free valet parking available at the garage underneath the Two Rodeo complex (enter from Dayton Way). There's also two hours of free parking in the public garage on Brighton Way, one block west of Rodeo Drive.

Also duck into the Rodeo Collection (421 N Rodeo Dr.), a terraced semi-outdoor retail mall that's reputedly the most expensive in the country. The restaurant in the courtyard is a nice and quiet spot for lunch.

Gourmet / Connoisseur
For great people watching (and hopefully celebrity spotting), grab a table at an outdoor cafe on Two Rodeo. Choices include the seafood restaurant McCormick & Schmick's, famous for its happy hour (Mon-Fri, 4pm-6:30pm and 9:30pm-11pm) with $1.95 burgers and other simple dishes.
