Our City Expert's Tips

The best time to visit Pershing Square is during a free concert. These usually take place from noon-2pm on Tuesday and Thursday, on Friday nights from 8pm-10pm, and on Sunday afternoons from 2pm-4pm. Concerts feature bands from around the world playing all kinds of popular music. Visit the website for the schedule.

In winter (usually from mid-November to mid-January), kids of all ages come down for a spin on an ice rink.

History Buff
Pershing Square is surrounded by historic buildings, most notably the Millennium Biltmore Hotel, a palatial historic place that has hosted presidents, celebrities, and royalty.
