Special Events
The open-house event, Celebration of Craft, occurs the first Saturday in April and features craft demonstrations, live music, kids’ hands-on crafts, fine craft sale, a silent auction, gallery discounts, and more. Proceeds support the educational outreach programs and admission is free. Later in the year, the Holiday Festival runs the weekend after Thanksgiving Day (Fri-Sun) and features one-of-a-kind gifts, showcase exhibitions, craft demonstrations, hand-made ornaments, music, and more.

Craft Workshops
Spend a week at the Appalachian Center for Craft while enjoying a uniquely creative learning experience. Work in professionally equipped studios including clay, fibers, glass, metals, and wood; there are classes suitable for beginners to professionals. Weekend workshops are available in the fall and spring (no lodging available on-site); five-day workshops are offered in the summer (room & board available).

Shop 'til You Drop!
The Gallery at the Center is a great place to find unique gifts--from hand-blown glass to quilts to candles.
