Our City Expert's Tips

Cannonsburgh Village is next to the Murfreesboro Greenway System, four miles of trails that let you walk, jog, bike, or skate along the Stones River and Lytle Creek. Stones River Battlefield, a terrific Civil War site, also has a trailhead on the greenway.

Musical Journey
Cannonsburgh Village is the site every July of Uncle Dave Macon Days, a four-day celebration of old-time music and dance, named for the Grand Ole Opry pioneer.
