Description

Commonwealth Brewery first started brewing in the mid-1980s here in Nassau, developing the first local beer brewed in the Bahamas. Ever since, Kalik has been the national drink of choice among Bahamanians. If you call and ask pretty please for an appointment, you can tour the brewery and even taste a few of the selected beers they brew here. It is owned by Heineken and so it actually brews some of their beers as well, including Guinness, the Irish heavy. If nothing is available, be sure to try the beer somewhere (everywhere?) on your trip.
