Our City Expert's Tips

Bucerias used to be the inexpensive getaway from Puerto Vallarta. The major four-lane highway brings it much closer, and the town now exhibits a much more complete infrastructure with gyms, spas, great restaurants and banks, in addition to the market shopping. The neighborhoods are very friendly, and the beach is known as one of the best, and certainly the longest, in the bay area.

Local Culture
Despite the growing foreign community here, Bucerías retains its local flavor.

Gourmet / Connoisseur
Bucerías has a variety of beachside restaurants offering daily seafood specials.
