It's worth taking a tour of Osgoode Hall. You'll see wonderful architectural flourishes like the stained glass windows in the library, elaborate wood carvings, and the Caen tile floors, along with oil portraits of Ontario's most famous legal minds. Outside, on part of the ornate iron fence is something called a cow gate. These awkward openings once prevented grazing cattle from entering the esteemed gardens of Osgoode Hall.
