Formerly known as The Contemporary Museum, this museum's collection merged with the former Honolulu Academy of Arts to create the Honolulu Museum of Art. Housed at the Spalding House, this is the museum's secondary location with the main Honolulu Museum of Art located in downtown Honolulu. Nestled on a beautiful property in Makiki Heights complete with gardens, this museum showcases six galleries of art including the permanent installation of David Hockney's L'Enfant et les sortilèges. Admission to this museum will also grant you access to the Honolulu Museum of Art downtown.
