Located on over 200 acres in Swope Park, the Kansas City Zoo is home to over 1,000 animals. Notes: The zoo is in Swope Park, most easily reached by heading east away from the center of town on 63rd St. The zoo entrance is just past Cleveland Ave. You'll see the sign on the right. If you're coming from I-435, take the 63rd St exit and head west.
