Description
While most culturally significant as the city's only Victorian home open to public perusal, the majority of visitors stop by to examine the mysterious ghost house depicted in Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil. The ghosts of former tenants are said to tread the halls here on a nightly basis, and it is not hard to imagine why they would not want to leave. Once the home of Savannah's mayor, it now stands as one of the finest surviving examples of the Second Empire style.
