Description

Fifty million years of primate biology is on display at this most unusual of university departments. The Duke Lemur Center has the largest collection of lemurs outside of Madagascar, as well as lorises and bushbabies. The Center is located on 85 acres in beautiful Duke Forest. Daily guided tours are informative and fun.

Open Hours: 8:30am-4:30pm, Mon-Fri (reservations required)
Notes: All visitors must make reservations for a guided tour, available Mon-Sat. No drop in visits allowed.

Best Time to Visit: Although the Lemur Center is open all year, try to visit between April and November.
