Description

In this aquarium you can admire the animals and fish that live in the Øresund. There are ten different tanks, each of them designed in order to create an environment for the fish to live as they would in Øresund itself. Each Monday and Wednesday at 1p you can watch the fish being fed. The aquarium is situated a bit north of Copenhagen, in Helsingør. A visit could be combined with a visit to Kronborg Castle.

Notes: There are direct trains from Copenhagen Main Railway Station to Helsingør Station which takes approximately 45 minutes. From Helsingør Station there is Bus 803 (in the direction of Kristinehøjvej), which takes about 10 minutes. From here it is just under 10 minutes to walk to the aquarium. Alternatively, you can walk directly to the aquarium from Helsingør Station, which takes about ½ hour.
