Description

Located near Telegraph Hill, these stairs, running between Montgomery and Sansome, will take you past colorful houses and verdant gardens up to three separate terraces that give you an excellent view of the Bay Bridge, Treasure Island, and the East Bay. There are three sets of stairs for this slope--more adventurous travelers can take the stairways on the sides for a much steeper and narrower climb.
