Description

San Francisco's Chinese Historical Society is the country's largest and oldest organization dedicated to the study of Chinese-American culture and history. It holds a permanent art collection, as well as several rotating exhibits. It also hosts several readings, conferences, lectures, and other events celebrating San Francisco's diversity. The history of the Chinese and their role in early San Francisco history is told through photographs and artifacts here at the Chinese Historical Society.
