Description
The Berkeley Sauna has provided massages, hot tubs, and saunas to the East Bay since 1977. Hidden away in a street off of University Avenue, Berkeley Sauna is the perfect place to get away from the stress of the city. It offers three types of massages (Esalen, Swedish, and Deep Tissue) guaranteed to rub out any tension you may have, as well as saunas and hot tubs to soak in the experience. Berkeley Sauna is a family business and offers friendly service with a knack for putting you at ease. Call to make reservations.

Notes: Berkeley BART is only three blocks away, but if you are visiting Berkeley for just a day, driving might be a better option. Once you are in Berkeley, the local transit system (ACTransit) is not that great, and unless you have a lot of time on your hands, you may be wasting precious travel time waiting for a bus.
