Description

One of the most famous art museums in San Francisco is the Legion of Honor in Lincoln Park. The majority of art in this museum comes from Europe, France in particular, and some of the art dates back 4,000 years. The extensive collections of paintings includes works by Rembrandt, Rubens, Renoir, Robert Crumb, and other famous artists. One of the most famous art pieces to see you'll be greeted by as you come in--The Thinker, by Auguste Rodin, sits at the entry way, pondering for eternity the comings and goings of museum patrons.
