Description
This little, three-story townhouse in the Hong Kou District is where the famous short story writer lived with his family from 1933 until his death in 1936. The furnishings have been kept in their original state, so that the visitor can get a glimpse of how Lu Xun lived and worked. A Chinese-speaking guide leads visitors through the house and shares stories about various objects. The bookstore offers an extensive collection of Chinese literature by and about Lu Xun. Some English language material is also available. The house is a short walk from Lu Xun Park.
