You'll be surprised to find a fully functioning farm in the middle of the city! Located in the heart of the Central Experimental Farm, the museum pays tribute to traditional and modern farming practices in Canada. "Living displays" at hand include a herd of dairy cattle, as well as a variety of sheep, horses and other animals.

Notes: The #3 Nepean Centre OC Transpo bus will take you from the Rideau Centre (downtown) to the museum. If you're driving, it can be a little difficult to find the museum. From downtown, take Queen Elizabeth Drive south. You'll pass Dows Lake, go through a traffic light, and drive up a hill until you come to a traffic circle. Go 180 degrees around the circle and take the second road, directly opposite the road on which you entered the circle. Not long after the traffic circle, you'll see signs on your right for the museum. If you get to Baseline Road, you've gone too far.
