Description
This 500-hectare working farm is hard to miss, as it is situated in the center of the nation's capital. The unique farming laboratory boasts a crew of scientists who give farmers and food manufacturers across the country useful information. Notes: The farm is too far from downtown to reach on foot, but it's easily accessible by bike--take the recreational paths along the Rideau Canal. To get here by public transit from downtown, take the #3 Nepean Centre bus from the Rideau Centre.
