Fed by glacial melt waters, the clear, still waters of Bow Lake reflect the surrounding snow-capped peaks with stunning precision. A photographer's dream, the lakeside picnic tables at the southeast end of the lake are an excellent spot to have a snack and take in the scenic splendor. A trail leads from the picnic area to a marshy area at the lake's outlet. Another hiking trail, which starts near the lodge at the upper end of the lake, leads to Bow Glacier Falls.
