Description

Housed in the old Dominion Building (1867), the AGNS proudly exhibits Nova Scotian and Canadian Art as well as a selection of international works. Highlights of the Atlantic Canadian collection include works by Lindee Climo, Alex Colville and Jack Weldon Humphrey. The permanent collection boasts 7,200 pieces and there are several temporary or borrowed collections for viewing at any given time. The gallery offers classes, lectures, and other venues for anyone, young or old, to learn more about art and artists.
