Assiniboine Park is the city's oldest park, and it encompasses 1,100 acres. The park has a 700-acre forest, and plenty of green space to roam. Facilities available include a fine zoo, conservatory, walking trails, an English garden, Leo Mol Sculpture Garden, the summer outdoor Lyric open-air live-performance theater, the restored Pavilion housing a restaurant and art gallery, and cricket, softball, and soccer fields.
