Although the Folly wasn't Kansas City's first theater, it's the oldest one still standing. Beautifully restored, this neo-Palladian burlesque house now hosts classical music concerts such as the Friends of Chamber Music, Kansas City Youth Symphony, and the highly acclaimed Harriman-Jewel series. The Folly's own Jazz Series and Kid Series are among the area's most popular music offerings. The Folly Theater is a very active venue, so it's possible to catch an event here during nearly any visit.
