Plan a day trip to the island and immerse yourself into the local culture while visiting the local art galleries, specialty shops, and restaurants. Don't forget to make an appointment to tour the quirky Umbrella Cover Museum, which aims to preserve the existence of umbrella covers for generations to come. If the weather is nice, rent a bike or a kayak at one of the rental shops and take a self-guided tour around the island. It won't take too long, it's only two miles long and one mile wide, so take your time and enjoy life on the island.
