Description
One of the hidden treasures of Hilton Head, Alder Lane Beach, beckons locals to its less-crowded shores during the warmer summer months when many other area beaches are teeming with people. Alder Lane is hidden away--it can even be a bit hard to find--which makes it a great secluded spot to get away from the crowds. It's located just south of one of the more popular beaches on the island, Coligny Beach, and is accessible by a simple walkway that leads to the clean shores. The beach also offers vending machines, restrooms, and mats that make it wheelchair accessible.
