Description

A visit to the Honey Horn Plantation is a must if you are looking for local art and events hosted in the sole remaining plantation house on Hilton Head. When the island's main economic endeavor was cotton farming and hunting, the Honey Horn house and property was used as a home, place to hunt, and storage facility. This 68-acre site has been in use since 1805, and today is a preserved site used to showcase local artist's work, and host annual events and galas. It is managed by the Coastal Discovery Museum, which is also located in Honey Horn and open to the public.
