The Jarvis Creek Park, built in 2003, is a new facility that has paved trails, open spaces, picnic areas, and a lake. Spending a day here will rejuvenate and relax you, so the rest of your vacation can be packed with adventure and exploration. The park was built with sustainability in mind--sediment from water runoff is separated and settled by the wetlands before returning to Jarvis Creek, and the park was paid for by selling the dirt that was dug out to make the lake. Today, the park offers barbeque pits, shelters for parties, and a large playground for kids. It is the perfect solution for having a day with no agenda or time constraints.
