If you want to learn more about the history and wildlife on Hilton Head, Kayak Hilton Head is the company to visit. Here, you can rent kayaks to solo around the island's waterways and ocean front, or you can book a two hour tour, and guides will paddle with you while teaching about the indigenous wildlife and surrounding landscapes. The company claims to be the best on the island because they put in where the dolphins come to feed, so sightings and up close encounters with the mammal are more frequent. Kayak Hilton Head has a private dock, so your tour won't be bombarded with other tourists and loud splashing, allowing you to have a better chance of sighting otters, minks, jumping shrimp, and crabs.
