Description

A Federal-style building constructed in 1826 as a Methodist Church, it was purchased by Jewish immigrants from the Bialystoker province in Poland in 1905, and converted into a synagogue. The building's interior has been restored to its original facade, and the beautiful stain glass windows have recently been refurbished. Today, the Bialystoker Synagogue holds many services, classes, and community events, and offers tours of the magnificent building.
