This popular pedestrian pathway stretches for about 4.5 miles up the Jersey shore, and provides easy accessibility to some of Atlantic City's most famous attractions. You'll find some of the area's best casinos, hotels, amusements, shops, and restaurants lining the Boardwalk, and the city's famous soft-sand beaches are also steps away. The Boardwalk acts as a central point for activities in Atlantic City, anchoring its famous piers that extend out into the sea, such the Steel Pier and the Garden Pier. The original wooden Boardwalk was constructed in 1870, and served as a venue for shops and restaurants--just as it does today--as well as a buffer to keep sand out of the nearby hotels. This is the quintessential attraction in Atlantic City, and is a definite must-see on any traveler's list.

Parking Availability: Yes
Notes: The most parking you'll find will be in the casino garages. They usually charge a flat rate for the day (or your entire stay if you're staying at the casino/hotel). This price fluctuates per season, and is usually free if you have a rewards card for that casino chain.
