Description

Cades Cove is a breathtakingly beautiful valley located within the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Nestled between mountains, the expansive and open valley is one of the most popular destinations within the park and offers plenty of wildlife to watch, cycling trails, as well as historic buildings and cabins. Cruise the one-way, 11-mile route along Cades Cove Loop Road, which will take you around the picturesque valley and along various historic buildings including barns, churches, log homes, and a grist mill. Stop by the Cades Cove Visitor Center, which is located in the middle of the Cades Cove Loop Road. Here, you'll find informational brochures about the area as well as exhibits about the local mountain life. You'll also find a shop and bookstore here with some great local finds.
