This one-mile trail, located in California's Anza Borrego State Park, may be short, but it offers beautiful views of the San Felipe Wash and the mountain ranges that surround the park. There are interpretive signs that dot the beginning 1/3 of the trail and tell of the local flora and fauna of the area. In addition to great views, of course there are many kinds of cactus along this trail (as the name suggests). Many of the cacti bloom around May, making that time of year one of the best times to visit the state park.
