Description
This cute little train runs on a three-minute loop tour of Balboa Park near the San Diego Zoo. Although the trip is only 1/2 mile long, it's a fun experience for both kids and adults as the train offers both a scenic tour and unique ride on a rare vehicle. The train itself is a model of a G16 train; it's an antique today, as there are less than 50 of them in existence. The railroad is operated by the San Diego Zoo Department of Transportation, so the train leaves and returns at its depot located just east of the Zoo.
