The Foster Island Walk is conveniently located just north of the Washington Park Arboretum, close to the University of Washington campus. There is a great variety of plant and animal life to see here, from willow trees to cattails to marsh wrens. The trail offers great views of Lake Washington, and, if you're lucky and the sky is clear, the Cascade mountain range and Mt. Rainier.
