History buffs rejoice! This museum, founded in 1886, is the oldest Civil War museum in the US and has exceedingly fascinating collections of documents, artifacts, and other miscellany related to the Civil War and the abolitionist movement. The museum includes some fascinating stuff including memorabilia from General George Meade, the commander at Gettysburg, as well as that of Generals George McClellan and Ulysses S.
