Description
A place where arts and culture collide, the Chicago Cultural Center acts as an official "reception venue" to the city. One of Chicago's most popular attractions, the center holds a remarkable number of art showcases throughout the year and feature an eclectic range of performances and displays of all styles and genres. The building was originally built in 1897 for the intended use as the city's main library. The building itself incorporates architectural styles spanning Greek, Italian Renaissance, and Roman designs.
