Address:
Shark Rodeo

The Abacos, The Bahamas

Description

The Shark Rodeo is responsible for creating one of the best words in the English language: "Chumsicle". What exactly is a Chumsicle? Well, you'll quickly find out with a visit to the Shark Rodeo, a regular gathering of over 100 sharks at Walker’s Cay. Here you can watch live, wild sharks as they swirl around a giant mass of frozen fish parts (the eponymous "Chumsicle") dropped in for their dining pleasure. Don’t worry: this is a controlled and safe event, but if you want to see nature’s most efficient swimming/killing machines, come to the Shark Rodeo at Walker’s Cay. Just don’t hum the “Jaws” theme once you’re there.
