Etched in red granite, this touching monument honors those who paid the ultimate price for freedom. Military service personnel who lived in Harris County and lost their lives during World War I, World War II, Korea, Vietnam and the Persian Gulf conflict are listed on this memorial that pays tribute to their lives. A moving ceremony is held every Memorial and Veterans Day to honor them, but you are welcome to visit anytime.
